So they did an April Fools joke where Saints Row: The Third was going to get an expansion pack called Enter The Dominatrix
And then it turned out to be real
and NOW they’ve cancelled it, and they’re going to put it in Saints Row 4 instead
On one hand, at least they’re acknowledging Saints Row 4 exists
On the other, not sure if want
I mean don’t get me wrong, I LIKE the crazy shit in 3, but the expansions were even crazier, and you could ignore them and not count them as part of the Saints Row “canon”, such as it is
But Enter The Dominatrix was going to be about an alien invasion, and you were supposed to get superpowers, and now that’s officially part of Saints Row 4’s plot
I mean, I’m sure that’s going to be fun as shit either way, the mission where you got temporary powers in The Trouble With Clones was one of my favorite parts in the whole damn franchise, but
I don’t know, I’ll probably like it if they pull it off well, I mean I would never have guessed from playing the first two games that I’d get a mission in the third from Mayor Burt Reynolds to fight a zombie infestation, and that was one of my favorite missions in the game
I just hope they don’t fuck this up because damnit, I love these games
